Advertising, digital advertising, body image, and social media teaching resources for 7- 16-year olds
Today young people consume a huge amount of commercial information from a wide range of sources, which is why it’s crucial that they are taught the skills to critically evaluate and understand the media that is all around them.
Media Literacy is the ability to navigate, interpret and process the media we consume.
We have created resources to support parents, guardians and educators, so media and digital literacy can be taught more easily in school, and at home.
Our free PSHE Association accredited teaching materials are being used in school assemblies, PSHE and ICT/computing lessons, and can be utilised across the curriculum in primary schools. They're also being delivered as workshops and presentations in youth organisations.
These teaching materials focus on topics such as advertising, digital advertising, body image and social media.
From explaining what an advert is to creating your own advertising campaign, our lesson guides are engaging as well as educational.
